National Recruitment Agency was announced by the FM Nirmala Sitharaman at Budget 2020 Speech. National Recruitment Agency will conduct one exam for all non gazetted posts . Notification will be issued and registration will be allowed through National Recruitment agency .
Indian Government had proposed to set up a National Recruitment Agency (NRA). Central Government had recognized that there is a huge increase in the unemployment rate at an all-time high. To reduce the Unemployment rate Government is planning to introduce National Recruitment Agency through which it will offer more Sarkari Naukri/ Government Jobs in the upcoming years. These newly proposed National Recruitment Agency will tackle increase in the number of vacancies, The key role of NRA is to streamline, hire through recruitment process. It is a dedicated national level body where it will conduct computer based Common Eligibility Test for recruitment to non-gazetted posts.
Why National Recruitment Agency?
As of now many candidates are applying separately for participating in the recruitment process for non-gazetted posts. By which both the recruitment authorities and those candidates who are applying are spending more time. Recruitment authorities by issuing separate recruitment notifications are conducting separate exams while the students are also attending various exams. This leads to duplication of work, porous screening system and multiple screening and evaluation standards for recruitment of Government Employees. By launching this National Recruitment Agency, government job recruitment will not be done through multiple examinations for various non-gazetted government jobs. The National Recruitment Agency will process and streamline through a single examination and screening authority.
National Recruitment Agency Notifications
The National Recruitment Agency will be set-up by the Government, It is an independent authority on the lines of NTA / National Testing Agency. National Recruitment Agency Notifications will be released and the Agency will be holding computer based Common Eligibility Test for recruitment to non-gazetted posts. NRA is expected to eliminate the need for multiple testing infrastructures for recruitment to various non-gazetted Government Jobs like National Testing Agency. As it is an independent authority, It will develop a quick recruitment phenomenon and offer better access to Government Jobs to the aspirants. This will simplify the process of recruitment.
National Recruitment Agency for Non-Gazetted posts
Those candidates who are interested to apply and participate in the recruitment process of Non-gazetted posts must know that the newly proposed National Recruitment Agency will only look after hiring of non-gazetted posts. That is the NRA will only takes part in the Recruitment process of Group B, Group C and Group D posts that fall under the category of Non-Gazetted Sarkari Naukri/ Government jobs. The Non-Gazetted Posts are the Government Jobs that are not equal to the Gazetted Posts. The Difference is that the non-gazetted posts will not provide the official to use or issue an official stamp on behalf of the Government of India.
Which Jobs come under National Recruitment Agency?
The Non-Gazetted posts currently are issued by Staff Selection Commission (SSC), UPSC, Nationalized Banks, PCSs and Railways hold several different examinations to fill up the vacancies for Non-Gazetted Government Jobs. By the establishment of the National Recruitment Agency, the candidates are expected to appear in only one common computer-based test. The Common Exam will be conducted by replacing the following Examinations:
- SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination
- SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level Exam (10+2) (CHSL) Examination
- SSC Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) Examination
- SSC Junior Hindi Translator (JHT) Examination
- Railway Group D Recruitment Exams
- Railway Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Recruitment Examination
