Equitas Bank FASTag is a device that employs Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology for making toll payments directly from the prepaid account linked to it. It is affixed on the windscreen of your vehicle and enables you to drive through toll plazas, without stopping for cash transactions. You need to recharge / top up the tag as per your requirement.

Equitas Bank FASTag is a 10x 5 cm, rectangle shape, multi layered tag, which is made out of good quality paper, containing chip and antenna inside its layers, it is pasted on the wind screen of the vehicle, and through Radio frequency identification method, the information is read at the toll plaza from the tag.

Tag provides you with the convenience and ease during transit through the toll plaza along with saving time, fuel and money. Equitas Bank FASTag is presently operational at 346+ toll plazas across National Highways. The system is inter-operable and the same Equitas Bank FASTag can be used across all toll plazas under the National Electronic Toll Collection (NETC) program. More toll plazas will be brought under the NETC program in the future.

Rs. 100/- across all categories, including all applicable taxes Other Charges: – A minimum security amount depending on the vehicle category (refundable at the time of cancellation of RFID Tag) and Minimum Balance would be charged to the customer as per the Table

Interested customers can apply offline by calling customer Care center at 1800 103 1222 and our customer care centre executives will guide you to the nearest PoS location. Customer should go to nearest PoS location with valid KYC documents and vehicle RC copy along with the originals for verification purposes, the customer can open his/her account by filling up the application form and submit it to the concern officials.

How to Recharge Equitas Bank FasTag

Customenr can recharge your TAG account by making payment online through UPI, Debit Card or through Net Banking. The TAG account can be recharged upto Rs. 1,00,000 for KYC accounts and Rs.10,000 for NON-KYC accounts. Customer can also recharge TAG account at the Point of Sale (POS) locations near Toll Plazas and Equitas Small Finance Bank Branch offices by paying cash. Following are the steps to recharge

• Login to any UPI PSP App. For example BHIM UPI App, Google Pay, Airtel etc.
• Enter beneficiary UPI ID or beneficiary VPA option.
• Type beneficiary as NETC.VEHICLENUMBER@EQUITAS. For example, if your vehicle number is TN10D5962, you will enter the beneficiary UPI ID / beneficiary VPA as NETC.TN10D5962@equitas.
• Click the Pay option against this beneficiary and enter the amount to be recharged in the tag.
• Authenticate your transaction with the UPI Transaction PIN that is registered with the UPI PSP App.
• Successful recharges will immediately reflect in the tag balance which can be cross checked by logging into website www.fastag.equitasbank.com or Equitas FASTag Mobile App (Available for Android Users).

For recharge through Net Banking, please follow these steps

• Log into Customer Portal: ‘Customer Login’, with your username and password
• Go to Payments and click on Recharge Account
• Select the tag accounts to be recharged and mention the respective amounts to be uploaded
• Choose payment mode as ‘Pay by Online’ and click ‘Continue’
• A new window will open with an option to select your bank
• Please select your bank from the list and continue
• You will be asked for the login credentials for your bank account. Please proceed with the details and complete the payment.
• Minimum recharge amount a tag can be recharged with is Rs.100.
• Do not refresh the browser or press the ‘Back’ button in the middle of the transaction.
