HDFC Bank’s NETC FASTag Account makes paying tolls a seamless process. The FASTag is a device attached to your vehicle’s windscreen that lets you pay tolls instantly when you are on the road. The Government of India has made FASTag payments mandatory for all vehicles.

The FASTag has a validity of five years. After five years, you can reapply for a new FASTag. The new FASTag gets linked to your old wallet.

Online FASTag application
You can apply for the HDFC Bank NETC FASTag online via our paperless application process as discussed below and submit the following documents.

- Registration Certificate (RC) of your vehicle
- Permanent Account Number (PAN)
Step 1: Visit the official website of HDFC Bank FASTag link apply.hdfcbank.com
Step 2: Enter your mobile number and PAN, provide your consent on FASTag T&Cs, and click on continue.
Step 3: Validate the application process by entering the one-time password (OTP) that is sent to your mobile number.
Step 4: In case of existing bank customer, select the bank account number to proceed. Your existing details shall be fetched from bank records. In case, of new to bank customer, provide your personal and address details as well as your email address.
Step 5: Now provide your vehicle details – vehicle registration number, vehicle class (whether car/jeep/van or light commercial vehicles)
Step 6: Confirm the details and make the payment using your preferred payment modes.
After making the payment, you will receive the FASTag sticker at your doorstep. You will also receive a customer ID and wallet ID on your registered email address and mobile number. Once you receive your FASTag, you must activate it and fix it to your vehicle’s windscreen.

How to Activate or Login to HDFC Bank FASTag
Step 1: Visit the fastag.hdfcbank.com and go to Login/Register tab on left to login to the HDFC Bank NETC FASTag Account.
Step 2: You can login via OTP by providing any one from (Wallet ID/Mobile No/Vehicle Reg.No).
Step 3: You will get the OTP on your registered mobile no.
Step 4: By verifying the OTP, you have successfully logged in to your FASTag account.

How to unblock HDFC Bank FASTag
Your FASTag can get blocked due to non-submission of KYC documents. In this case, you will have to submit the self-attested scanned copies of the following documents via registered email id to with the subject ‘KYC Updation on HDFC Bank FASTag Wallet’. *
- ID Proof : Pan Card ( Mandatory document)
- Address Proof : Driving Licence / Voter ID / Passport (front and back side both)
- You also need to mention your vehicle registration ID, FASTag Wallet ID and registered mobile number in the email body.

How to Replace HDFC Bank FASTag
- Replacement fees is Rs. 100 + convenience charges applicable.

Your FASTag may be blacklisted due the following reasons
- Wallet balance is below threshold limit (minimum balance).
- Wallet balance is gone in to negative balance.
- On the request of Government authorities.
- Once wallet is recharged, please call the call centre at 1800 120 1243 for activating the blacklisted FASTag.
How to Deactivate HDFC Fastag
To Deactivate or Cancel or Close the Fastag for any reason you can follow the steps below:
- Login to the Fastag portal using User ID / Wallet ID and password.
- Choose the option of Service Request.
- Then select the option of Generate Service Request.
- Choose the Request Type as Closure Request to close the RIFD Tag or Wallet.
