Telangana Government is announced Gruha Lakshmi Pathakam ( Gruha Laxmi Scheme ) to provide Rs 300000( Three Lakh Rupees) financial assistance to construct a new house. Through this scheme, people below the poverty line and those do not have their own house are selected as beneficiaries.
Telangana government is going to implement this scheme from March 2023 . Those who are eligible for this scheme are advised to apply online once the online application is announced.

Gruha Lakshmi Pathakam Procedure:
The Telangana Gruha Lakshmi Pathakam housing scheme selection process involves a lottery system that is conducted by the Telangana Housing Board. Here is the selection procedure:
- After the submission of applications, the Telangana Housing Board will conduct a scrutiny of the applications to verify the eligibility criteria such as income limits and residency requirements.
- Once the scrutiny is complete, the Telangana Housing Board will prepare a list of eligible candidates.
- Telangana Housing Board will select the beneficiaries from the list of eligible candidates.
- The selected beneficiaries will be intimated through SMS and Email, and they can also check the results on the official website of the Telangana Housing Board.
- The selected beneficiaries will then have to complete the further formalities such as document verification, payment of the initial deposit, and signing of the agreement.
- After the completion of formalities, the Telangana Housing Board will allot the 2BHK houses to the beneficiaries.
